Medical Technicians (EMT's) certified at the Shock Trauma (EMT-ST),
Cardiac Technician (EMT-CT), or Paramedic (NREMT-P) levels. |

| The Intubation kit contains
equipment used, by the ALS trained provider, to provide a patent airway in
an unresponsive patient or a patient with an absent gag reflex. This
kit contains airway equipment used on an adult patient. Pediatric
airway supplies are kept in a special kit used for pediatric patients
only.

| The Shock Trauma box may be
used by anyone certified as an EMT-Shock Trauma or higher. The box
contains supplies for starting 2 IV's, drawing blood for labs,
Intraosseous (IO) IV's, chest decompression, Crycothyrotomy, and also
contains drugs used by the EMT-ST. These drugs include 1:1000 Epi.,
D50, Glucagon, Albuterol Nebulizer, Nitroglycerine tabs,
Nitroglycerine paste, Narcan, ASA (baby aspirin), Activated
Charcoal, Benadryl, and Syrup of Ipecac. |

| The Cardiac Box may be used
by anyone certified as an EMT-Cardiac Tech or as an EMT-Paramedic.
This box contains equipment for starting IV's, drawing blood for labs,
equipment for Intraosseous IV's, chest decompression, Crycothyrotomy, and
also contains drugs used by the EMT-CT and the EMT-P in Cardiac events.
These drugs include all the above named EMT-ST drugs and also Atropine
Sulfate, Epinephrine 1:10,000, Lidocaine, Bretyllium Tosylate, Magnesium
Sulfate, Diazepam, Sodium Bicarbonate, Meperidine, Dopamine, Morphine
Sulfate, and Adenosine. |
