Below is equipment that is used for Rescue Situations such as vehicle entrapment. Members who use this equipment are certified in Vehicle Rescue. |

"O" Cutters |
These are pretty much self-explanatory, they are used to cut when performing vehicle rescue. |

Spreaders picture coming soon

Often called "The Jaws of Life," the spreaders are used to pry objects apart such as seperating a door from a car that cannot be opened to remove an entrapped patient. |

Combination Tool |
This tool is the most used simply for it's function to perform multiple tasks. The Combination Tool can be used as a set Spreaders or a set of Cutters. |

Generator |
The Generator is a gasoline powered piece of equipment that is used to provide power away from the Rescue Truck. The Generator would be used in such situations as providing power for a rescue operation over an embankment or somewhere the truck can not reach. |

Cribbing |
Cribbing is probably the most important tool for vehicle rescue as far as Patient AND Rescuer safety. Cribbing is used to stabilze a vehicle to make it safe for extrication of the patient. Cribbing may be synthetic or cut from wood and comes in many sizes such as 2x4, 4x4, and 6x6. |
