| The unit pictured above is our First Response Unit. The
most common use for this unit is on Medic, or ALS (Advanced Life Support)
requests. When a unit responds to a location and upon arrival they
determine that the patient is in need of care by higher trained personnel, the
personnel on scene will call Augusta EOC (Emergency Operations Center), and
request ALS, then EOC will set off our "Tones" for an ALS
request. That is where this unit would come in. |
